It was the opinion of our local hospital that our Mother would receive better care at this facility. This was not the case. When a patient is immobile and cannot get up and take care of themselves, they need and should be checked on constantly. This did not happen. It would be hours between visits by the nurse or any employee of the facility. Even after my Mother was healed of the reason she was sent to the facility, they did not want to release her. It felt they were keeping her hostage. She is now home, safe and happy.
My father in-law was in hospice care at this location. The staff was very compassionate and treated him and us with respect and honor. They made a very difficult life event as comfortable as possible.
This was the next step in my father's care after a month in the hospital with complications of pneumonia. Staff and physical therapist were very friendly, attentive, probably more than the hospital even. As with all healthcare establishments, you have to ask questions and stay involved daily. A positive experience for my family.
